The Property Tax Postponement Program is administered by the State Controller's Office. It allows eligible homeowners to postpone payment of part or all of the property taxes on their residence. Once the homeowner completes the claim form and it is approved, Certificates of Eligibility will be mailed to the homeowner. These Certificates are to be mailed or taken to the County Tax Collector's Office for payment of the property taxes.
