Pesticide Safety

By June 2025, the Agricultural Commissioner will offer to at least 40 field workers and field supervisors a pilot informational course in Spanish on pesticide use and worker safety.

Determine the topics that the department could give presentations on (safety, worker rights, etc.). Partner with local agencies to advertise the course to field workers. Give presentation, count number of participants. Continue work with California Department of Pesticide Regulation on strengthening the Pesticide Notification Program.
