County Appoints Ken Corbishley as Agricultural Commissioner

At their meeting today, the Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors appointed Ken Corbishley as the County Agricultural Commissioner/Sealer of Weights and Measures.

 

Mr. Corbishley holds a bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice from San Jose State University, and he is licensed as a County Agricultural Commissioner and County Sealer of Weights and Measures by the State Department of Food and Agriculture. He began his career as a Weights and Measures Inspector in 1987 in Santa Clara County. He has also worked as a Deputy Sealer of Weights and Measures for Stanislaus County and as an Agricultural Biologist, Deputy Agricultural Commissioner and Chief Deputy Agricultural Commissioner for Monterey County.

 

Mr. Corbishley has been working as the Deputy Agricultural Commissioner/Sealer for Santa Cruz County since March 2006.
