We partner with survivors of the CZU August Lightning Complex Fire on their journey to recovery.
The Santa Cruz County Long Term Recovery Group is honored to be working with the resilient community members impacted by the CZU Lightning Complex Fires. The recovery process is a long road which extends all the way through repairing or rebuilding and ultimately to finding a “new normal.” As the official Santa Cruz County Long Term Recovery Group, we are here to support community members with their recovery. No one has to go through this alone!
Bringing Support to CZU Fire Survivors

Three local organizations: Catholic Charities, Community Bridges: Mountain Community Resources and Davenport Resource Center are collaboratively working with other organizations within our community by helping disaster survivors and their families return to safe, sanitary and secure housing by connecting survivors to available community financial resources, identifying household needs and program eligibility, assisting with advocacy and appeals, creating attainable recovery plans for disaster recovery and arranging construction resources and repair for property damaged by this natural disaster.
